Nach Cusco kam der Titicacasee – zuerst die peruanische Seite mit Puno (von dort aus gab es eine Tagestour zu den schwimmenden Insels der Uros sowie einen Abstecher zur Insel Taquile) und im Anschluss die bolivianische Seite mit Copacabana und einer dortigen Bootstour auf die bekannte Isla del Sol, wo der erste Inka vom Sonnengott Inti zur Erde gelassen wurde. After Cusco there was Lake Titicaca – first of all Puno at the Peruvian side (from there I made a day trip to the floating islands of the Uros as well as a side-trip to Island Taquile) and afterwards Copacabana at the Bolivian side (combined with a day trip to the famous Isla del Sol, where the first Inca was “placed” on earth by sun god Inti). Of course it’s worth it to read the former post from those days… || to all pictures / gallery
